The Technical Sales Manager will join the team of those supporting the sales and commercial strategy for the energyworx SaaS platform in Europe.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
To develop, co-ordinate and support sales of energyworx SaaS platform;
To promote, specify, and sell software-based access solutions using a consultative approach towards integration and understanding of existing customer business processes, and the return on investment thereof;
Specific focus on building partnerships with software integration companies, utilizing and strengthening use of APIs;
Working closely with the sales teams targeting utility companies to identify, qualify, negotiate, and close new business;
To prepare and deliver technical sales presentations, events, and demonstrations showing the capabilities of the products, and possibilities for bespoke solutions;
Working with Marketing and Product Management Teams to promote the right messages into the right sectors and raise product awareness;
Providing accurate forecasting and activity information to senior management / appropriate parties on an agreed basis, and forecast future trends;
Monitoring competitor and customer activity;
Maintaining CRM system for customers and projects;
Working effectively with other members within Energyworx to identify opportunities that provide the best overall solution and deliver world-class service.
The ideal candidate will have:
A proven track record of selling products and technology solutions in the Utility sector;
A proven track record of selling products and technology solutions in the SaaS sector;
Advanced technical sales skills gained in a B2B environment;
Knowledge and experience of dealing with a partner network;
Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
A strong overall IT know-how with a good working knowledge of Cloud and network technologies;
