What does your job entail?

As an experienced Marketing Manager at Energyworx, you are responsible to drive Marketing Strategy in support of the company objectives. You make sure that you develop short and long-term strategies, execute marketing strategies and plans for demand generation, ongoing market research, customer needs assessment, and customer and sales history analysis which will meet sales objectives for the portfolio in the short and long term. You also work on content for marketing campaigns. At the same time, you work on user cases and documentation, product manuals, and converting all of this information into (video) content and materials (youtube, social channels). You put theory into practice by presenting these materials to our clients and by continually coaching them in their adoption of the platform, which is key in making our client implementations a success. This also means you are the force behind the Energyworx community environment.

Being part of our Marketing team, you work in a high-tech environment with the newest (Google Cloud) technologies, some of which aren’t even available on the market yet. You are an essential link between Sales and partner networks to drive differentiated programs that lead to new business gains, growth within existing accounts, and retention of top accounts. Next to that, you provide salesforce with marketing support, including sales tools and competitive intelligence. Your role as a Marketing Manager means you may join your team on international business travel (Europe and the USA).

You report directly to our CCO.

Who are you?

You are a hardworking, confident, and enthusiastic Marketing Manager with a great sense of humor (or at least you think you have humor). As part of a small team, you are the architect of your own success by taking the initiative to translate market insight into opportunities and support the sales process. The opportunity of getting to know the Energyworx product and continually exciting our customers is right up your alley!

Background:

  • Most importantly the ability to distill complex information and present it succinctly;

  • Minimum 3 years B2B marketing experience;

  • Marketing CRM software experience;

  • Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures; strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills;

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization;

  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills; setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements and proven track record of results;

  • Effective oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, good attention to detail, and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced environment are essential;

  • Must have demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks;

  • Being comfortable in an innovative and dynamic environment does not show a 9-5 mentality;

  • Experience of a scale-up and corporate would be a major advantage;

  • Is creative, motivated, and has a good tolerance for stress;

  • Understanding of the energy industry is a big plus;

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, other languages would be advantageous.
