Energyworx Recognized in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Meter Data ManagementJanuary 5th, 2016 by Matthew Ross
For the second year in a row, Energyworx makes the list and is now positioned the furthest for vision among the niche players!
Energyworx has been recognized by Gartner for Meter Data Management. We believe that this is because Energyworx further solidified its vision for a new way of offering Meter Data Management (MDM).
For an emerging software market such as MDM, Completeness of Vision is determined by Gartner through the combination of a good market understanding and the right go-to-market strategy, innovation and level of R&D investment in order to meet the emerging needs in diverse energy markets.
Energyworx CEO and Co-Founder, Edwin Poot commented on this accomplishment and the Energyworx plans for 2016:
‘We are very pleased that Gartner positions us the furthest for completeness of vision among the niche players, in the MDM-space. We believe this confirms our strategy and business model towards a pure-play and disruptive, cloud based Software-as-a-Service offering for the energy and utility sector. As is often confirmed by our existing and prospective customers, our ability to ingest, process and apply near-unlimited amounts of data, both in absolute volume as in granularity, is unique in the market. Add to that the enormous cost-savings we can accomplish for our customers and we feel that it is clear that the Energyworx-way is the only way for the industry to battle the enormous data growth that is part of the energy transformation that the industry is facing. We are confident that, based on our growing number of implementations in 2016 and our growing traction internationally,we will continue to challenge the established vendors with our unique vision in order to move towards the Leaders Quadrant’.
Energyworx looks forward to building its team and network of system integration partners for greater company expansion. Look out for us next year as we will continue our journey and standby for our upcoming pricing campaign which will make our customers future-proof and resilient to market-changes with no upfront investment and the lowest usage cost the industry has ever seen.
