Rinse worked most of his professional life as IT consultant in the Energy and Utilities industry, starting in Oil & Gas exploration in the Middle East, followed by the dynamics of Energy Trading straight into the unbundling and liberalization challenges of the North West European market.

The last years as senior director for the global Utilities vertical of a large system integrator. His expertise is in smart billing and energy data solutions that support the energy transition. With over 20 years’ IT expertise Rinse gets his energy from working with partners and clients across countries to co-create new solutions that deliver business value.

Being Dutch, living in Maastricht with his wife and daughters, he is a Euro-citizen, with one neighbour being Belgian and the other German.
