Zhongyang is a highly skilled professional with a strong background in applied machine learning and deep learning. He holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Wuerzburg, where he collaborated closely with the German Aerospace Center (DLR). After completing his studies, Zhongyang relocated to the Netherlands and joined Utrecht University to further advance his expertise. Throughout his academic journey, Zhongyang witnessed the rapid growth and practical applications of data science and machine learning in various industries. Motivated by a desire to tackle real-world challenges, he made the transition from academia to the industry, where he now thrives. Besides his passion for machine learning, Zhongyang has a keen interest in learning foreign languages. He is actively studying Dutch and leveraging his German language skills through transfer learning and reinforcement learning techniques. This multi-lingual proficiency enables him to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams. In his leisure time, Zhongyang indulges in a range of hobbies. He enjoys manga, video games, board games, and escape rooms. Additionally, he stays up to date with the latest advancements in state-of-the-art deep learning technologies, constantly exploring new possibilities and innovations in the field.
